Please note that this vehicle will not be sold for use or resale in California or to a non-dealer California resident.

The Mercedes-Benz W210 made its debut in 1996 as an all-new E-Class model that featured bold new styling and, soon thereafter, the company’s first V-6 engine, the 3.2-liter M112. This thoroughly updated model, coupled with the station wagon’s self-leveling rear suspension, provided the perfect platform for an insightful Mercedes-Benz dealer in the US to commission one of the most special one-offs in recent memory.

This vehicle, originally completed by Mercedes-Benz as a standard station wagon, was shipped directly to Binz Karosserie in Germany for conversion into an amazing four-door pickup. Binz’s association with Mercedes-Benz dates back over 60 years as a builder of wagons, ambulances, hearses, and limousines. At a cost of nearly $50,000 beyond the initial purchase price of the car, Binz stretched the stock wagon by 29" and fabricated the fully lined pickup bed and bodywork behind the rear seats. The conversion was completed with such quality and attention to detail that it has the appearance of a factory creation. The custom-made bed features an aluminum floor with an integral tailgate bordered by brushed stainless steel rails. The wagon’s original rear window has been retained and may be opened for easy access to the passenger compartment.

The pickup’s interior is in excellent condition throughout. While it appears to be entirely stock, closer inspection reveals the rear passenger area’s conversion to individual bucket seats separated by a customized console. Further interior amenities include automatic climate control, in-dash navigation, and numerous power accessories. The engine bay is particularly clean and belies the 21,500 miles indicated on the odometer. Accompanied by manuals and a CARFAX Vehicle History Report, this spectacular custom Mercedes-Benz is ready to thrill its next owner in most any application.
