Introduced at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-Type electrified the world of sports cars with its race-worthy specifications, impressive performance, and stunning good looks. Naturally, it was, and remains, a true object of automotive desire for collectors and enthusiasts. This 1967 Jaguar E-Type 4.2-Litre Fixed Head Coupe is an original left-hand-drive model dispatched from Jaguar’s Coventry factory in the UK on December 8, 1966, and shipped to the US for delivery to Jaguar Cars in New York. It was acquired by Tom Larsen in January 2014 from noted Jaguar collector Terry Larson, after a focused search for a tour- and concours-worthy, Fixed Head Series I example.

In 2015, the E-Type received a repaint in its factory-specified Opalescent Silver Grey paint, and the interior has been handsomely re-trimmed in Red upholstery. Other highlights include a period radio and silver-painted wire wheels. The factory 3.31:1 rear-axle ratio was exchanged for a 3.07:1 ratio, allowing for more comfortable high-speed touring. In addition to exhibition at the 2015 Misselwood Concours d’Elegance and completion of the Larz Anderson Annual Classic MotoTour in 2017, this E-Type was shown at the JCNA Jaguar Association of New England Concours d’Elegance in 2021 and 2022. A wealth of documents accompanies this outstanding 1967 E-Type, including invoices, photographs, concours judging sheets, articles, and correspondence. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly attractive E-Type Coupe in its gorgeous original color and retaining its matching-numbers engine.
