Capitalizing on the postwar transportation boom, Cushman began producing economical, easy-to-operate scooters utilizing their dependable Husky single-cylinder powerplant. The scooters were an instant success and by 1958 approximately 15,000 units were built. Production continued until 1965 with the Eagle model garnering the most favor, likely because of its American motorcycle derived styling.

While early history of this Cushman is not known, it currently presents very well and is finished in black livery with white upholstery and highlighted by black piping and chrome accents. Offered with an impressive list of available options, this Silver Eagle is nicely equipped with extended mirrors, windscreen, and a rear rack-mounted passenger seat. Currently displaying 7,403 miles at the time of cataloguing, this beautiful Cushman is sure to be a welcome addition to any enthusiast gathering.
