Introduced for the 1973 model year, the G series was Porsche’s second generation of the 911 and remains its longest-running to date. Despite the famous “impact bumpers” that were fitted to conform with low-speed crash regulations, the G series was a hit with enthusiasts. Various improvements were made over the years, such as a larger 3,164 cc flat-six engine, larger disc brakes, and a new Bosch Motronic fuel-injection system.
As a 1988 model, this 911 Cabriolet benefits from the many improvements made to the G series throughout its production run.
