A True Crowd Favorite at Every Event
Faithful Recreation of One of America's Most Loved Sports Cars

In 1994, David Kirkham founded Kirkham Motorsports with a mission to build the most accurate Cobra replicas in the world. He started by studying and digitizing the components of his family's Cobra while in college. A chance meeting with multi-generational aircraft fabricators in Poland helped pave the way to a partnership with Carroll Shelby, culminating in a continued tradition of American speed and power.

The powerful Kirkham Cobra presented here was purchased by the consignor, a Southern California collector, in 2007, and reportedly was one of his favorite cars to drive. Equipped for a true speed enthusiast, it is powered by a massive 427 cubic inch, side oiler, big-block engine mated to a four-speed Toploader transmission, and clothed in an alloy body. All the Cobra essentials are represented on this example, including a hood scoop, massive side pipes, oil cooler, chrome roll hoop, external fuel filler, and massive wheels to keep this lightweight roadster planted to the pavement.

The Cobra comes accompanied by a wind wing autographed by Carroll Shelby, analog fuel level stick, car cover, spare air cleaner, and service records. Finished in a striking blue with yellow racing stripes and a black leather interior, this faithful Cobra recreation stands poised for years of driving excitement.
