Description
Without Reserve

In this rare 1950s coin-operated driving game, the player sits down and has to keep the car on the road, which scrolls past in a panoramic display. While steering, the seat moves in the direction you turn. A green light flashes to ensure you that you are still on the road, while a red light indicates you have gone off road. The object is to stay on the road to collect as many points as you can so you can escalate from a “creeper” to an “expert” driver. The consignor notes that this example currently functions and is quite fun to play, and that it remains in original condition except for the seat section, which was repainted. The cabinet and main unit are unrestored, as is the glass and the internals. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the very first driving games and would be a fun addition to any collection. Made in the US. Dimensions: 60" L x 29.25" W x 79.75" H
