A Unique and Well-Loved Enzo

Debuting in 2002, the Enzo was Ferrari’s successor to the F50 in its line of supercars that began with the 288 GTO in 1984. It was named after Enzo Ferrari, and featured technology developed in Formula 1 racing, including a carbon fiber chassis and a semi-automatic transaxle with paddle shift. Powered by a 6.0-liter, naturally aspirated V-12 engine producing 651 hp, the Enzo could reach 60 mph in 3.14 seconds and a top speed of 221 mph.

This stunning 2003 Enzo was purchased new from Ferrari of Houston. In the car’s history file, insightful correspondence with the dealership principal Giuseppe Risi documents the buyer’s wish for an Enzo painted in Argento Nürburgring (Nürburgring Silver) with tan leather seats, but an otherwise black interior.

The Ferrari currently displays approximately 7,100 miles and has remained in single-family ownership since new. Multiple records on file attest to diligent maintenance including care by Steve Harris Imports (now Ferrari of Salt Lake City). In June of this year, authorized Ferrari dealer Continental AutoSports in Illinois performed an engine-out service, installed new tires and battery, and rebuilt the air-conditioning's compressor. Additionally during this service, Ferrari Classiche certification was applied for and was pending approval at the time of cataloguing. It should be noted that the rear spoiler actuator system is currently inoperable. The Enzo comes accompanied by its tool kit, wheel socket, luggage, car cover, manual, window sticker, and photos of the car being picked up in Houston.

Ferrari supercars in their original ownership are in dwindling supply. As one of relatively few Enzos delivered in a shade other than red and benefitting from fastidious care and careful use, this one sits in a sweet spot of usable examples that stand out in a very exclusive crowd. Offering a unique opportunity, this is the Enzo that you have been waiting for.
